Apollo 17: The Last Men on the Moon

It has been 47 years since the last men stepped on the moon.

NASA’s Captain, Eugene Cernan, was the third man to walk in space, one of three people who went twice to the moon, and the last one to leave a foot print on the surface.

“We leave as we came, and if God wants to, we’ll return home… with peace and freedom for all humanity”. “Today’s American challenge has forged the destiny for the man of tomorrow” This where Cernan’s last words standing on the moon.

His message and courage are intended to inspire the youth, from the United States and around the world, to study science, engineering, technology, mathematics. “It’s is vital for our future that young people dare to dream and explore the universe”.

Today, there are only 4 alive astronauts who have walked in the moon: Booz Aldrin, David Scott, Charles Duke, and Harrison Schmitt.

How was the experience for the last men on the moon?
