CERN stands to study the formation of universe by evaluating the minute particles in and around us. Scientists are now making use of most complex instruments to analyse the composition of particle matters in the universe. Study regarding the formation of universe is done by colliding the sub atomic particles under the speed of light.
Collisions of particles are done to understand the interaction of matters in the universe. It also opens the door to understand the building blocks of universe. CERN own purpose built accelerators and detectors to check the effects of collision.
Accelerators are generally used to provide energy to sub atomic particles so as to support good collision with each other or to stationary object. Detectors in CERN are generally used for checking the collision status of particles.
CERN, founded in 1954 is situated near Geneva with the joined venture of 23 states. At present, CERN meant to excavate particle physics is also known in the name of European Union of Laboratory for particle physics.
